The seed idea of the Astrogenesis Research Foundation first started collating in 1997 with a curious thought clouding the mind: “WHO ARE WE AS HUMANS? WHAT FOR NATURE HAS CREATED A HUMAN AND ITS HUGE POPULATION? WHAT PURPOSE IS A HUMAN SERVING FOR ITS CREATORS?
The scope of the research study gradually increased from ‘Humans’ as just one among the 9 million living species and their respective populations, with an instinctive urge to know what they are all collectively doing on this Earth.
The ARF study's scope expanded to explore what this Universe is all about and the Human-Universe connection. It explored the Cosmic Universe's connection to humans and examined inter-human relationships aligned with Cosmic purposes.

Baldevkrishan is a Rashtrapati Awardee, with a Cash Prize for his patented invention, the STD Control Device, received in January 1974 by the then Industries Minister, Dr C Subramanium. The nodal agency that recommended the Awards was the National Research Development Corporation of India and the Inventions Promotion Board, New Delhi. During his pre-graduation period at the (Royal) Institute of Science, now known as Bhabha State University, Fort, Mumbai, he was in Junior B.Sc. with Physics as the principal subject and Maths as the subsidiary subject. During his junior B.Sc. year, he participated in a Science Fair Exhibition and won the 1st Prize in December 1969. Next year, in December 1970, he again participated in a Science Fair exhibition with his new invention, the automatic gas control and safety device, where he again won the top prize.
