Chairman, Lead Scientist & Author,
Astrogenesis Research Foundation

Baldevkrishan is a Rashtrapati Awardee, with a Cash Prize for his patented invention, the STD Control Device, received in January 1974 by the then Industries Minister, Dr C Subramanium. The nodal agency that recommended the Awards was the National Research Development Corporation of India and the Inventions Promotion Board, New Delhi. During his pre-graduation period at the (Royal) Institute of Science, now known as Bhabha State University, Fort, Mumbai, he was in Junior B.Sc. with Physics as the principal subject and Maths as the subsidiary subject. During his junior B.Sc. year, he participated in a Science Fair Exhibition and won the 1st Prize in December 1969. Next year, in December 1970, he again participated in a Science Fair exhibition with his new invention, the automatic gas control and safety device, where he again won the top prize.

While in his final year of graduation, Baldevkrishan started receiving industry offers. He completed his B.Sc Hons from Bombay University and accepted an offer from an industry in Madras (now Chennai) to be a Development Officer. While perfecting his STD control gadget, he was also given the charge of developing an Automatic Gun Firing System (AGFS) for the Vijayanta Tank ( An Indian version of the Centuarain Tank), which was developed and approved by DRDO. Since the Industry did not accept this petty Order of 100 units, the DRDO Officers encouraged him to manufacture and supply the AGFS.

This offer from DRDO started Baldevkrishan's entrepreneurial journey. He returned to Bombay and started building an infrastructure for manufacturing AGFS. Incidentally, the venture failed because delivery timelines could not be met. He again took up a job in a prominent Industry Group in Thane as a Development Officer in early 1972. In 1975, he ventured out and started his Company, Marshalls Wallpaper Co. He never looked back. He again opened an Industry in 1985 in Navi Mumbai under the name Gratex Industries Ltd. The two companies have progressed exceedingly well with our 18 branches across MMR & India, thus hosting a popular and reputed Marshalls brand.

In 2020, Baldevkrishan retired from Marshalls, and he is now the Chairman Emeritus of Marshalls Group of Companies. He is involved in several philanthropic activities and helps the underprivileged through his BS Marshalls Foundation. In 2021, he started CiiA (Creative Ideas & Innovations In Action) and hosted the 1st Awards in Feb. 2022. CiiA is a platform to encourage young student Innovators to offer Cash Prizes, Trophies and certificates to the Winners and the participants. In Feb. 2025, the 4th edition of CiiA will be hosted. CiiA is his humble give back to society, an inspired return for which he was encouraged, motivated, and benefited during his college years.

Baldevkrishan is a scientist who has been working on various scientific subjects. These subjects have been his passion and the outcome of his research for the past 27 years. Baldevkrishan published his first book, WHO ARE WE? WHAT FOR??. The first part is his brief biography. The second section is his research, which shares the laws of the universe and their connection with humans

His second Book is titled “Unmasking the Hidden Fate of Carbon Emissions and the Great Discovery of its Recycling Process.” It highlights the carbon-oxygen recycling process and how the Natural System fortifies Oxygen, which provides energy and strength to humans and other large-bodied living bodies.

The third Book is in the finalisation stage, but it is a pathbreaking breakthrough in the Science of Cosmology. Here, he shall introduce the NUE Law, which will help overcome the shortcomings of Hubble’s law and Hubble’s constant. It shall present an NUE Universe Model, which will again overcome the shortcomings of the Big Bang Theory and the Steady State Theory. Baldevkrishan is planning a series of Science books to provide the world's intellectuals and research Institutions with extensive knowledge.

He is the Founder and Leader of Two Distinguished Companies

About

He returned to Mumbai to start manufacturing, but his lack of industry experience failed him in his first venture. He joined another manufacturing company in Thane, Mumbai, as a Development Officer. He was promoted to production head and later transferred to marketing head. In 1975, he resigned and opened his company, Marshalls Wallpaper Co., which became a famous brand. Marshalls was built from ground zero to where it stands today, with innovations as a critical ingredient for its long-term success. In 2025, Marshalls will celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year Celebration. Baldevkrishan took voluntary retirement from his company in 2020 and handed the reins to his son and daughter to carry the legacy forward. He is now Marshalls Chairman Emeritus. He then started looking forward to offering monetary support and serving the socially and needy in education, health, sports, and Senior Citizens through his self-funded B S Marshalls Foundation.

About

In 2021, he initiated another philanthropic activity to give back to society, for which he once received recognition and success. He initiated CIIA (Creative Ideas & Innovations in Action) to encourage an innovation ecosystem in Institutions and the innovations done by students, giving them a platform to exhibit and interface with Innovation Users. By February 2025, the fourth edition of the CiiA-4 Exhibition and Awards will be hosted. CiiA-4 is set to showcase visionary ideas and groundbreaking solutions, inspiring entrepreneurship and creativity. The event fosters innovation and nurtures future trailblazers, transforming projects into success stories. It promises to be an unparalleled gathering of awe-inspiring inventions and Innovations.

Vision & Mission

Astrogenesis Research Foundation (ARF) aims to correlate humans with the Cosmic Universe and connect humans' physical architecture and functional systems with those of the Universe. There is a remarkable similarity between the two, which can be summarised with a one-liner statement: “As is the Universe, So is a Human.”

The Statement simplifies understanding of the Universe through a human model. It visualises a real-time model of the Universe and a possible purpose the Universe could be serving to its Creators

Studying a human from birth to death and what one does during one’s lifespan is exciting. It shows how the Natural system networks the collective activities of all humans to serve its needs and purpose. The purpose for which humans and all other 9 million species and their respective populations are created and how they serve Nature’s purpose is an essential objective of the ARF Mission. This research study is entirely scientific and not philosophical or spiritual based.
