Can Sound, Intention, and Action Trigger a Response from the Universe?

What if the words we repeat as mantras do more than create sound?

What if a mantra is not merely something we recite, but a way of communicating with the Universe System, prompting it to fulfil our desired needs?

Let's take an example: Think of something as simple as calling a person's name in an audience or a group of people. Everyone hears the call, but only the person whose name is called responds. The sound of the call captures attention and triggers a response from the person whose name is called. Similarly, when a Mantra invokes a particular deity (a deity is the head of a particular Universe's sub-activity centre), for a specific purpose, say Shree Ganesha Mantra for knowledge, or banishing the occurrence of obstacles, or Surya Mantra for attaining power or authority or fame, etc., the deity responds!

The respective deity responds when invoked through the recitation or chanting of its dedicated Mantra. Repeat the Mantra several times to capture the deity's attention. Recite or chant the Mantra, say, 27 times or multiples of 27, i.e., 108 times (number of beads in a rosary/mala). The reason for multiple recitations is that the mind wanders at first; repeated recitation enables, in due course, faster focus on the deity. When in a mode of Dancing, clapping, or playing a musical instrument that engages all physical body limbs, it helps you focus more quickly (see chanting videos of Hare Krishna and other bhajan mandalis).

Do Mantras work on a deeper state of mind? Not as magic, but as a disciplined process of sound, attention, and intention expressed to the deity, in the backdrop of chanting?

Repetition creates rhythm. Rhythm strengthens focus. Focus reinforces intention.

Intention influences action through the concerned deity, so sustained recitation or chanting can fulfil a person's immediate needs, because the deity listens, acts, and provides a solution. This implies that a human is not a standalone entity but a nature-networked being who can connect to the Universe System to resolve one's issues.

How to become a great iconic human being, to be remembered beyond lifetime?

The real power of a Mantra lies not only in what we recite, but in what we “ask” through repeatedly chanting it, and what we ultimately intend to do with it.

This leads to a fascinating possibility:

Chanting Mantra leads to → Focus → Intention → Action → Transformation.

And perhaps the most powerful Mantra of all is not a question of:

“What can the Universe bestow upon me?”… but:

“When I get it, how can I contribute, selflessly, to the wellbeing and welfare of humanity, which consequently serves the needs of the Universe?”

When our ‘ask’ becomes purposeful, our intent focuses on the common good of all fellow humans; then, our actions create value. This focused repetition of Mantra, and asking with good intent to serve others via Mantra chanting, when repeated over time, is what we call sadhna. When this happens, one reaches a stage of “mental-orgasm”: a state where one becomes consciously lost in a spiritual zone that connects with the Universe system and, in that state of orgasm, one starts receiving prompts for the way ahead in a difficult situation. We call it Cosmic marg darshan.

We may discover that the Universe chooses such a sadhvic person as its own operative channel. Such a human gets support directly from the Universe System, progresses to extraordinary heights, with an abundance of resources and fellow-human networking support, resulting in a chain of achievements and accomplishments, something that no one would have ever dreamt of or imagined.

Examples of Individuals Who Have Shaped Humanity as a channel of the Universe System, whose ideas, leadership, courage, or spiritual vision have influenced millions, include Jesus, Prophet Muhammad, Buddha and Aristotle, Newton, Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.

More recently, we also see individuals whose journeys and public service have inspired millions: PM Narendra Modi, who works selflessly for the betterment and upliftment of the poor and marginalised, and for the nation as a whole.

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (Bageshwar Dham Sarkar): A miraculous rise in popularity as a young saint, just 30 years old, travelling worldwide and drawing massive audiences.

The above are some of the iconic examples. But every individual has the power to make the Universe System work to serve one's needs while fulfilling common public interests and creating an impact far greater than oneself, wherein the influence extends far beyond one's lifetime.

I end with a dialogue by actor Shah Rukh Khan from the movie Om Shanti Om:

Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh poori kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.

The example of Draupadi in the Mahabharata: when they attempted to disrobe her, she prayed to save her honour; help arrived, and she was saved from dishonour.

But I believe the greatest example of our times is that of the PM. Modi: his journey from humble beginnings to a position where 35 nations have honoured him with their highest civilian awards, his highest rating among world leaders, his lifting of 250 million people above the poverty line, and his continued service to humanity through his political acumen. He is guided by one principle: Servee Hitaye, Servee Sukhaye (that what's in the interest of all brings happiness to all).

The deeper message is this:

What you ask from the Universe Nature System, if it has a purpose that serves humanity with commitment and sincerity, you ought to outgrow magically, extending influence beyond your lifetime.
